About this object

On one side underneath the imperial crown is the cipher of Catherine II with war trophies (banners, drums, etc.) on either side. On the opposite face is the imperial eagle with floral motifs between. The rim is hot-worked. Stem has a faceted cushion knop above an inverted baluster knop. Stem contains a decorative bubble. Base is plain.
