About this object

On one side of the conical bowl is engraved the double headed eagle surmounted by the imperial crown with a branch of leaves and flowers to the right and left. On the other side within a medallion is the monogram EA for Catherine the Great. Above the medallion is the imperial crown and to the right and left military banners and trophies. Interior of the faceted base of the bowl is decorated with a single decorative bubble. Stem is decorated with three faceted knops (two proper above and below an inverted baluster.) Base is plain.
