About this object

The bowl is made in the Nectarine pattern. In the center bottom is a five pointed star surrounded by five foliate forms and squared off by four scroll motifs. It has a rope like rim foot, called cable cord rim. On the outer sloping rim are four stars on a meshed/stippled background. Also on the rim are four acanthus leaf encircled medallions called Princess Feather medallion. Each has a small star in a circle in the center which is surrounded by a diamond shaped bossed pattern. There is a tiny plain glass scalloped edge.
