About this object

On the front of the glass is etched a bust-length portrait of Nicholas II facing slightly to the right. His name and the date 1896 are inscribed on either side, the whole contained within a circle of gold. At the back is etched twice the Imperial coat of arms. The rest of this tumbler is etched with decorative motifs.
