About this object
The vessel's upper section are constructed of extremely thin walls and a thick and heavy base. The sides of the vodka cup curve inward toward the rounded base. Around the thin-walled, upper half of the cup is a zig-zag pattern between double lines, all in acid yellow. In the spaces between the zig-zag decoration are stylized leaf forms painted in blue and grey alternating with circular red forms. All of the decorative forms are outlined in black. The decoration was first engraved in the thin walls of the body and the colors were then introduced into the channels. Two thin, fine gilded lines are painted about the body on the heavier base.
