About this object

The seal looks like a large urn. It has ram’s heads for handles and the cover is decorated with inverted acanthus leaves. The center of the top is a small button. The central part of the seal is cut with a cross hatched design. Below the ram’s heads, the seal curves outward and has a ribbed design. The pedestal foot is ribbed and ends in a circular seal which is blank.
