About this object
The seal is cut from a deep black stone with small white flecks. The shape is that of an urn with a flat top and ribbed sides. The top is cut as well as the bottom. The top has a curved edge and curves outwards with wide ribs. There is a division between the top and the center. The center is also ribbed with a flat area which is inscribed. The pedestal foot is plain and rests on the oval base.

Five medals hang from the bottom, including two with crossed swords, suggesting this the personal seal of a military officer.
