About this object

The seal is carved in the form of a bust of Timofei Ermak (Yermak) after an 1821-24 print by I. Rozonov. Ermak is wearing the old Russian hat and costume. He has a full beard and moustache and a glare on his face. His coat has a large collar. He sits on a base that is cut with indentations. The place for the seal under the base in uncut.
