About this object

The rectangular agate frame is beveled. The inner frame is made of gold enameled red with diagonal lines. There is one ornament at the top and two at the bottom composed of lapis lazuli and diamonds. In the center bottom is a small diamond ornament. The miniature is of Nedenia Hutton as a young girl. She sits three quarter length facing forward, wearing a blue dotted dress. To her right sits a small dog on a table top (possibly a miniature Schnauzer). The background is plain.
