About this object

The flat malachite bowl of the tazza is rimmed in gilt bronze in a beaded border. It is mounted on a pedestal leg. The leg is made from malachite with gilt bronze mounts where it joins bowl. It rests on a triangular base which is in gilt bronze with a design of acanthus leaves on the top and onto the leg, and is plain at the very bottom. In the center of the bowl is a name in Cyrillic surmounted by coronet.
