About this object

Belt of two bands of woven / corded black silk—the top being 1 ½”wide and the bottom 1” wide, each adorned with a row of cut steel rivets. A buckle 3 ½” H x 2 ¼” W made of 3 vertically interwoven circles of cut steel rivets filled with black velvet is at one center point. The opposite center point of the belt is an ornament of 4 vertically interwoven circle of cut steel rivets filled with black velvet that is 4 ¾” H x 2 ½” W.
