About this object
Folding leaf fan consisting of wooden sticks and guards painted matte black with Spanish of baroque inspired piercings. The leaf is made of a sheer black synthetic fabric with an overlay of black, synthetic fabric with an overlay of black synthetic honeycomb net. The top and the bottom of the leaf also have a synthetic looped trim running along the length. Abstract gold cord spirals are asymmetrically sewn onto the net with gold thread. The head of the fan has a metal pivot and plastic washer.
