Wedding dress worn by Emlen Knight Davies. Short sleeved, empired waist. Belt (silk ribbon) decorated with small sprigs of blossoms with a single ribbon belt at waist. Sleeves decorated with bows and sprigs of orange blossoms . Dress closes at CB with series of threaded loops and metal hooks. Dress worn with Marie Louis lace collar (permanent collection, Smithsonian).
