About this object
Inverted saucer shaped (unfurled) parasol with yellow nylon cover. A 6 cm wide yellow nylon ruffle is machine-sewn along the border of the ruffle and a 10 cm wide ruched band serves in place of the open cap. White-painted stick that terminates in an ovoid handle. Ten steel ribs and stretchers and brass top/bottom springs. A ruched yellow nylon band with nylon wrist strap is hand-sewn through a hole bored in the stick 19 cm above the handle.
