About this object

Black hand-painted cotton skirt with six sets of fighting roosters. Primary colors are metallic purple, blue, green, and copper; outlined in gold. Gold painted and embellished with gold sequins. It closes by an interior belt that hooks center front; the center front waistband wraps around the waist and ties at center back. Side pockets sit in an interior placket.
