About this object

The hat has a toque shape with sides densely covered in artificial and flocked flowers in yellow, white, red and blue, interspersed with small speckled egg shapes which terminate in flowers. The form is created with a buckram lace, covered in 2 layers of tulle, creating a sheer crown. The front is cut upward in a slight sweetheart shape and lined in off-white twill, finished in matching grosgrain ribbon. The maker has signed the interior with her name in yellow thread.
