About this object

Round box frame made of open mesh in light blue which forms sides and continues over the edges of the top with overlapping bands of plaited nylon horse hair ribbon with a spiral edge, mixed with synthetic straw ribbon in matching blue. The motif leaves form an opening of 2.75” x 3.5” oval in the center of the crown where mesh can be seen. Over the top of the entire hat and extending a few inches beyond is a detachable circle of netting which creates a veil in the same blue, gathered in the center and covered with single tiered bow in light blue velvet, measuring 4” x .75”
