Cream satin with nude netting on upper bodice. Off-shoulder neckline embellished with satin fabric leaves with single, central row. Seed pearls end in centerpoint with appliqued flat bow. Center of bow embroidered with initials of the bride and groom. Vertical on proper right NMH/left SMR. Modified princess corded seams gathered into flat centerfront panel. Corded waist seam dips to V in centerback. From side seam to centerback skirt gathered with standing row of graduated and gathered fabric. Closes at center back with three buttons at top of nude netting and 40 satin buttons & silk bound loops. Long sleeves of silk fabric embellished with same leaf and pearl motif. Closed with seven buttons. Hem of gown reinforced with five inch pleated & silk bound loops. Nedenia Hutton wore this gown for her marriage to Stanley M. Rumbough, Jr. on March 23, 1946.
