About this object

Porcelain ink well featuring high rococo decoration in white and blue. Borders and feet are scroll motif. The penholder at teh front is consistent of scrolls and shells. There are three compartments; one for ink, one for sand (has pierced holes at the top), and a small vase. Front and back of detachable elements are floral bouquets with pink, green, yellow, purple, and orange flowers.
