Dagger of steel with bone or possibly Bakelite and brass. The hilt is "s" scroll shape topped by a finial of brass with button-shaped knot at top. Blade is ribbed and has a double eagle on one side with the word "Zaltaroust" above eagel. Other side decoration with monogram "NI" probably indication of Nicholas I
