Gilt bronze medal. Obverse has the joined crowned ciphers of Nicholas I and Alexander II beneath an all-seeing eye. Below the ciphers are the dates 1853-1854-1855-1856. Reverse has an inscription. The medal is suspended from a St. George ribbon.
