About this object

Third class. Gold and white on the obverse, the enamel cross pattée. Central medallion contains St. George slaying the serpent on a red background. A particularly fine artistic rendering. Reverse of the medallion is white enamel with SG (in Cyrillic) in black in the center. Gold suspension loop and St. George ribbon (orange with three black stripes Romanov colors).
