Eight-pointed star of the Order. Center medallion is white enamel and portrays red and gold initials SS in Latin script surrounded by a narrow gold band. Around this band there is an inscription with the motto of the order. The inscription in turn surrounded by a light green gold rimmed band containing four gold laurel wreaths.
