About this object

The case of the watch is unusual. It is oblong in shape with the smaller watch being set in the center. The dial is white with Roman numerals for hours and black for seconds. The watch is set with a series of pearls around it strung on a string and visible on the front and back. Above and below the dial is a decoration of flowers in white enamel, bordered in blue. The outer section has filigree work in half-circles. The back has some decoration. In the center is a tiny altar of love in white enamel. Below this is a half circlet of tiny diamonds on a blue enamel ground. Between and below these are sprays of leaves in white enamel.
