About this object

Both halves of the Easter egg are decorated with elaborate designs in filigree enamel. On front, in gold, against translucent turquoise, are the Cyrillic letters Kh V for Christ is risen. Silver gilt globules are attached to wires which outline the floral motifs of variously colored enamels.
