About this object

Medallion is enameled on both sides, with the seated Saint Mark on the front, resting his hand on his symbol, the lion. Inscribed. He holds an open book with a pseudo-inscription to indicate text. His robe is dark blue shading to white, with pink outer cloak. His flesh is pinkish and his beard is white. Background is mottled, shading from white to blue. Set in silver gilt frame with brilliants.
