About this object

Oval body with flat base and shaped rim of the bowl, with raised prow and a handle formed as a stylized horse. Horse head with long curved neck is shaped to form a scroll support for the kovsh. Decorated in Neo-Russian style with scrolls, circles, triangles and other geometric motifs. Enameled in pastel grey, blue, purple and brown. Partial border of green dots is around the bottom. Red stone cabochon with plain gilded rim accents the outline of the horse neck.
