About this object

The background is in white enamel with a raised lattice in white and raised scrolls in gilt. Two panels on each half are painted in colors. On the lower half a girl and two youths fishing beside a stream, a shepherd and shepherdess beside a stream with sheep nearby. On the upper half are two panels painted with flowers on a white ground and another on the top.Ormolu mounts are finely chiseled. The eight fittings on the interior are all in place.
