About this object

The sides are highly embossed with flowers. The background is in white enamel while the embossed flowers are painted in natural colors. The ormolu mounts are finely chiselled and tooled. At the top is a ring for suspension. The interior fittings are missing and would have included a knife, tablet, and earpick or spoon.
