About this object

Background is in white enamel with a raised white lattice and dots. On the top and sides are reserved panels with raised gilt frames and galant scenes in colors. On the cover are two young ladies and a youth strolling in a garden and with a formal vista at the left with a fountain at the end. The scenes on the sides are: On the front-two youths and a young lady fishing, on the right-a man with gun bird-shooting with a setter, on the back-a shepherd and a shepherdess seated on a river bank with sheep, and on the left-a youth and a young lady seated on an embankment. The bottom is white enamel with a raised gilt rococo frame centering on a white panel with raised white dots. The interior is white.
