About this object

The background is in white enamel with a lattice and dots raised, also in white enamel. On each of the two halves is a cartouche with raised gilt rococo frames and scenes finely painted in full colors. A similar cartouche being also on the top of the cover. The scenes on the lower half are each painted with three figures walking in a landscape. On the upper half the cartouches have landscapes with buildings, the same for the two. Fittings are missing.
