About this object

Central core is composed of several large baluster shaped pieces of rock crystal mounted in ormolu. At lower part is an ormolu crown with five ormolu branches each with three candle holders and a crystal pyramid and garlands of crystal between. At the base of each of these are three standing palm leaves. Five smaller branches are between the larger ones holding only a crystal pear with a spray at top with crystal drops. At top is a group of ormolu sprays each with a crystal drop at end. The pear shaped piece of rock crystal anchoring the bottom of the central section ends in palm leaves and a leafy cluster of grapes in ormolu.
