About this object

A badge made for the Inauguration of Eisenhower and Nixon in 1957. The ribbon is red, white and blue. There is a rectangular metal frame at the top with a pin on the back and the words "Inaugural Committee" inside the frame. Suspended from it is a red ribbon from which hangs a circular metal medal. It shows the capital surrounded by a field of stars, and an eagle with outstretched wings below it.
