About this object

The lamp has a conical shade. It is decorated with an openwork design of blossoms and leaves in an Art Nouveau style. The shaft looks like a slender urn with two acanthus leaves engraved on it. At the top is a band of openwork with swirls, lilies and leaves engraved. The base is in the shape of a quatrefoil and is ridged on the sides. It stands on four small bun feet.
