About this object

The lamp is tall with a Tiffany style shade made from pieces of colored glass. The base is made from copper repousse and has three feet. There are designs along the feet and up the column of the lamp. The designs are in the Art Nouveau style with animal and leaf motifs. On each of the three faces of the upper part are oval medallions set with pieces of cabochon glass in various colors. The domed shade is set with various pieces of caboshon glass. Around the lower part of the shade is a scalloped row of small panels of green glass. Next is a colored glass band with square pieces of glass. The upper part of the shade has a leaf and flower design. The very top of the lamp is a large knob.
