About this object

The frame is rectangular in shape. The central part of the frame is filled with a row of blue cabochons. The inner edge is beaded. At the top is a wreath of trumpets in ormolu. The frame rests on an elaborate ormolu and enamel decoration of scrolls and meanders. This rests on a piece of white marble which is rectangular with rounded ends. The frame contains a miniature of Carroll Post. He is seated in a chair and facing forward. His hands are clasped in his lap and he wears a suit and bow tie.
