About this object

This small purse is in the shape of a cigarette box mounted with a black shoulder board in the center enameled in black with a white border. On the board are the initials Kh K in Cyrillic. The initials PA in Cyrillic--the P in red gold, the A in yellow gold--are on one side of the box and the initials CE or possibly SE in Cyrillic are on the other side, also in red and yellow gold. Simple swags drape from the shoulder board to each side with a thinly encised floral ornament off to each side. On the back is a gilded plaque with an inscription. A chain is attached to the top of the purse. The inside is lined in olive-green silk folded to form three compartments.
