About this object
Portable communion container used to take communion to the sick, is in the shape of a cross. Crucifixion is depicted on the top, with Mary on the left and John the Baptist on the right. At top of cross is a triangle with God written on it and rays emanating from it. Top is hinged to the bottom of the container, which has four compartments in a long section is a miniature chalice and in a compartment at top is a msall box with a lid for host. Cross has a hook at top and could be worn on chain around priest's neck.
