Tea strainer is in shape of a bucket with a handle. There are three flowers and leaves engraved on one side. These plus a border top and bottom and the interior have been gilded.

MARK bottom: 84 and a ship for Kostroma in 1880-1890s (#709) PR in Cyrillic script for Rat'kov Pavel (#1059); ship (city mark) on handle Pavel Pat'kov worked at the village Sidorovskoe. Silverware from such small production centers or from individual silversmiths were stamped at the central location at the large city nearby, which in this case was Kostroma.
