About this object

The cup portion is oval in shape. It has four panels decorated with rococo motifs in low relief and repoussé; in each a rococo frame surrounds a different pattern; near the handle, a scale motif; to the right, cross-hatching; opposite handle, stippling; last, wavy or horizontal engraved lines. There is a small crimp in the top center of three of the panels (not the one with the handle). The jagged twig-like handle is undecorated. The oval foot is crimped.
