Handle has a low relief of a Conquistador, riding full face. Below him is the name PEDRO DEL TOVAR. In the bowl is a low relief of the Grand Canyon inscribed GRAND CANYON OF ARIZONA VIEW FROM BRIGHT ANGEL TRAIL. On back of handle is a view of Pedro de Tovar from the rear and his coat of arms.
