About this object
Jade panels encase the box at the bottom and on the end sides, where five square pieces of red coral are mounted in gold. The remaining sides are in silver. Applied in gold on the top is the monogram M P D for Marjorie Post Davies. The thumbpiece consists of a jade loop attached to a gold mount set with two pieces of red coral.
