About this object

The tray is octagonal in shape, with a rim in openwork and a swag of bellflowers along each side. Around the center is an octagonal band of engraved leaves between two straight lines. In the center is a shield shaped cartouche surrounded with foliage and with a bow on top. The tray stands on four bun feet.
