The plain handles are gilt. Two plain collars, crudely applied fasten the bowls to the handles. the narrow, deep bowls are covered with a dark blue glaze, at the edge an abstract leaf border in gilt. On the back of one spoon within an oval is painted a bow and quiver in red against the clouds, on the other two gray doves sitting on a branch, molded leaves at the join.
