About this object

The bowl of the wine taster is melon-like with various indentationsa long the ribs. Some are horizontal, others vertical. In the bottom is set a coin of Charles IV, King of Spain, with the date 1790. The top has the head of the king facing to the right. The bottom has a coat of arms. The handle is shaped with two scrolls near the edge and a fleur de lys shape at the outer part of the handle. The handle is stippled.
