About this object

In the bottom of the ashtray is a bronze medal of King Edward VIII. On the front of the medal which shows in the bottom of the ashtray is a profile head of Edward VIII. He is facing to the right and wears a crown and regalia. He has an inscription around him. On the reverse which shows on the underside of the ashtray is an inscription surrounded by a wreath. The ashtray is round in ahpe with four indentations spaced around the edge. There are two handles whih are shaped in the form of an art deco crown with a cross on top.
