About this object

The ashtray is round in shape with two handles. Set in the center of the bottom is a coronation medal of Queen Elizabeth II. It shows the right profile of the queen and an inscription. On the reverse is a view of Westminster Abbey where the Coronation took place, which is also and inscribed. The ashtray has four deep indentations in the sides of the bowl. At each side is a simulated crown for a handle.
