About this object

The main portion of the seal is a silver statuette of a cupid walking and holding a piece of drapery in his raised right hand that twists around his body. Cupid stands on a six sided silver gilt pedestal in several stages. Set in the bottom of the pedestal is a piece of bloodstone cut as a seal with a helmeted head, seen in profile, facing to the right.
