About this object

The rectangular frame has an engraved background below pale blue enamel. The inner border is beaded and the outer one is reeded and bound with narrow ribbons. Above is a swag with a bowknot in the center. The frame contains a copy of a photograph of sixteen people and a dog. They are as follows: standing: 1. Grand Duchess Tatiana, daughter of Emperor Nicholas II; 2.Duchess Marie Antoinette of Mecklenburg-Schwerin ; 3. Grand Duchess Victoria Feodorovna, wife of Grand Duke Cyril; 4. Grand Duchess Olga, daughter of Emperor Nicholas II; 5. Grand Duke Cyril, son of Grand Duke Vladimir; 6.Elena, daughter of Grand Duchess Elena ; 7. Olga, daughter of Grand Duchess Elena and future Princess Paul of Yugoslavia; 8. Grand Duchess Anastasia, daughter of Emperor Nicholas II; 9.Marina, daughter of Grand Duchess Elena and future Duchess of Kent ; 10. Grand Duchess Marie, daughter of Emperor Nicholas II; seated, 11. Grand Duchess Marie, mother of Grand Dukes Cyril, Boris and Andrew, and wife of Grand Duke Vladimir, brother of Emperor Alexander II; 11. Empress Alexandra Feodorovna; 13. Emperor Nicholas II; 14.
