About this object

The dish is oblong with a laurel leaf border. In the center is a silver coin of Empress Elizabeth (1746) set in a frame of leaves against pale green enamel over a sunburst guilloche ground. The base is gilt. The piece came in the collection with its historic Fabergé box.
